GRF-SPaC regional workshop: Strategies for Sustainable Production and Consumption Research in Latin America at the World Resources Forum
This one-day workshop was held October 19th, 2014, in Arequipa, Peru. The workshop discussed, and took stock of, existing research on sustainable production and consumption (SPaC) in Latin America; reviewed new directions, challenges and opportunities for SPaC research development in the region; and intended to create and develop a network of researchers and practitioners in Latin America (similar to SCORAI in North America). The workshop was developed back-to-back with the World Resources Forum (WRF). WRF leaders participated with one of the kick-off presentations, and the main conclusions of our event reverberated publicly during the October 19–22 WRF Congress itself in a specific session.
